Spice Mobility is prepared to launch aĀ dual-simĀ Android Gingerbread smartphone named asĀ Spice Mi 285. The smartphone is pre-installed and secured with NetQuin Antivirus and has a 2.8inch TFT LCD Capacitive touchscreen display with 320 x 240 pixels resolution and it also has a ProximityĀ sensorĀ for display auto-turn off. The smartphone has both QWERTY keyboard and the touchscreen with Multi-Touch support. Connectivity list includes GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v3.0, and USB.
The company is yet to make an official statement on the release date and pricing of Spice Mi 285. But the smartphone can be pre booked at Saholic online retail store for Rs 6399.

On June 18th 2012 in Los Angeles, Microsoft unveiled its two new hardware devices named asĀ SurfaceTMĀ RTĀ andĀ SurfaceTMĀ ProĀ running on the latest and beautiful metro tiles packedĀ Windows 8Ā Operating System. The device has a dual identity, its a tablet as well as a computer. SurfaceTMĀ is a series name given to the Microsoft branded tablets. All the future MS tablets will be named under the Surface series. Microsoft designed and branded these tablets but the actual manufacturing is done by some other company.
As publishedĀ earlierĀ the Microsoftās Windows 8 Os comes in three editions āĀ Windows RTĀ (or Windows Runtime)Ā which is based on ARM architecture,Ā Windows 8 ProĀ which is based on x86 Intel i5 chipset andĀ Windows 8 EnterpriseĀ similar to Windows 8 Pro but with more reliability and targeted only for the serious business purpose.
Surface and Surface Pro tablets come with a Convertible Form Factor meaning the tablets can be used with or without physical Keyboard. The devices have an in built kick-stand for better viewing experience.
Between the two the Intel based Surface Pro is stronger as it is packed with some extra features like more memory, Full HD display, more battery power and more apps available in the market.
Both the devices have a 10.6inch HD display with multitouch supportĀ (5-point digitizer). Infact the Surface Pro has a full HD display with 1080pixels where as the RT version comes with the 720pixel HD display. RT edition is lighter (676grams) and thinner (9.33mm), the Pro edition is little heavier (903grams) and thicker (13.5mm). Both the tablets have two camerasĀ (front and rear)Ā and come with a configurable memory models. Surface Pro comes with 64GB/128GB internal memory and Surface RT comes with 32GB/64GB of memory. Memory can be expanded using the microSD card slot on both the devices. It is said that the tablets doesnāt support LTEĀ (4G Network)Ā but this is yet to be confirmed.
Currently there is no details regarding the price or the availability. But looking at their featuresĀ (and internet sources)Ā the Surface RT and Surface Pro tablet can be priced anywhere between $450 ā $600 and $600 ā $700 respectively and will be released in three months from now.

Both the handsets make the Celkon Mobiles as the first Handset company in India to launch its phone based on the newly developedĀ 6575 Chipset from MediaTek. The CPU in the chipset is powered by 1GHz processor running onĀ Android 2.3.6 GingerbreadĀ operating system. Company has roped in cricketer Virat Kohli and the actress Tamanna as the brand ambassadors and has lined up eight more advanced smart phones in the $100-200 category to be launched over the next few weeks.
