Lava which is on a mission to conquer the major portion of Indian Market by launching one device every Friday has this time released a new 7″ tablet named as Lava E TAB Connect Z7C (Life is Calling) under Rs 10k. USP of this tablet is its 3G voice/video calling capability on its SIM card. It is also the first tablet from the Indian company to have the SIM card slot.
Coming to the specs, E Tab Connect’s seven TFT LCD touchscreen display has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Beneath this screen lies a 1.2 GHz Cortex A5 single core processor from Qualcomm MSM 7227A Chipset with 512MB RAM. The tablet runs on Android 4.0 Ice cream snadwich version and comes with 4GB of internal storage expandable upto 32GB via Micro SD card.
Z7C Connect comes with dual camera, 2MP rear and 0.3MP front facing camera. E tab comes with s 3G supported SIM card slot from which one can take the advantage of voice calling, video calling (Skype, and other VOIP calling services) and browse internet. It also has built in Wifi connectivity.
Other connectivities include micro USB, Bluetooth, GPS and 3.5mm headset jack.
Lava Connect tablet is powered by a decent 3000mAh battery which can offer around 3 to 3.5 hrs of browsing time. Other tablets with voice calling feature include Penta 708C, HCL Me v1 etc.
