World’s first Dual Os running device – ASUS Transformer All-in-One Tablet PC

ASUS is one such company which tries and develops new kind of devices in the world. There are so many of us who wants both Android and Windows 8 operating system to be available in a single device. Here is the answer from ASUS, Transformer AiO.

ASUS Transformer Aio P1801, a 2 in 1 device which can switch between Windows 8 and Android Os was launched today at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013 in Las Vegas. It is the world’s biggest tablet that runs the dual operating system.

ASUS Aio P1801 Transformer features a huge 18.4 inch 1080p IPS multi-touch display. The base or the docking station of this hybrid OS device contains an Intel Core i5 or i7 machine for Windows 8 Os and sitting beneath the display is Nvidia’s Tegra 3 system for the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean Os.
When docked to the base station, the device can be used as PC with 1 TB hard drive and upto 8 GB of RAM and on undock the giant tablet will feature 32 GB of EMMC flash memory. One can even switch the Os mode with the help of the button available on the right side of the device.

The base station comes with many connectivity features like one SD card reader, four USB 3.0 ports, jacks for microphone and headset and an optical drive.
AIO P1801 PC-tablet is anticipated to be released in the market in the first quarter of 2013 and for a price tag of Rs 70,346 ($1299).
