Sony announces Xperia SX and Xperia GX for the Japanese market


Today Sony Mobile Communications has announced two new Xperia™ Android smartphones which are designed specifically for the Japanese market.
Xperia GX a high end handset and Xperia SX a medium end handset both are the first Sony branded smartphones with LTE enabled to be launched in Japan. The download speed ranges up to 75mbps. Both the handsets are powered by the Qualcomm’s Krait-based Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz dual core processors for faster performance running on Android 4.0 Icecream Sandwich. The Display integrates Sony’s Mobile BRAVIA® Engine for razor sharp clarity, full HD video and Sony Exmor R™ for mobile, enabling the capture of high quality, bright pictures and HD videos even in low light. Both the handsets are DLNA certified and have the HDMI port hence enabling them to share the HD videos on the big screen.
