The Korean Electronics Giant LG is continuing its trend to introduce the budget friendly smartphones in the Indian Market. After Optimus L7-2 and L3-2 smartphones the latest to join this series is the Optimus L5 II Dual E455 priced for Rs 11,499.
LG Optimus L5-2 comes with a 4 inch IPS WVGA capacitive touchscreen display of resolution 800 x 480px. It is running on android v4.1.2 Jelly Bean platform with Optimus 3.0 UI on top of it. Powered by 1GHz single core processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory expandable upto 32GB via microSD card.
The Dual SIM smartphone measures is 9.2mm thick and weighs around 103grams. There is a 5MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash support. The 3G capable device doesn’t feature a front facing camera.
In the connectivity segment the Optimus L5II supports Wifi, USB, GPS, Bluetooth and audio jack. The battery capacity of the affordable smartphone is 1700mAh which offers upto 9hrs of tak time and 642 hrs of standby time.
Advantage of the LG Optimus L5-2 is its dual SIM capability with Dual Standby functionality. Limitations include the poor memory and less camera options.
