Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for Wammy Titan 2 Phablet coming on April 12

Wickedleak is planning to update its 5.3 inch Quad Core Smartphone which was released last month named as Wammy Titan 2 from Android v4.1.2 to v4.2 on April 12th. The Indian company has officially announced about this upgrade plans last weekend in a press release. Currently there is no information whether this upgrade will be pushed over the air (OTA) or by other means. Company will be providing ROM Upgrade package to the users.

Wickedleak has also said that all the newly ordered Wammy Titan II will be shipped with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean straight out of the box. It has also updated the Os version its site in this regard.
Wammy Titan 2 is the first smartphone to receive the android 4.2 JB update. With this update the user can take advantage of many enhanced features in the areas like Camera, User Interface, Google Now and the performance etc. Currently the company is selling this device at the same price for what it was launched.
Looking at the specs the Wammy Titan 2 huge 5.3″ qHD IPS display powered by 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 Quad Core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB Internal memory expandable upto 32GB via Micro SD card slot. The phablet has dual SIM capability and is packed with 12MP Rear camera alongwith a 5MP front camera and a 2300mAh battery.

Currently the smartphone is in stock and ready to be ordered unlike the Micromax Canvas HD A116 which is usually seen out of stock at the other online retailers.
Last month Micromax has also announced that it will be updating its Canvas HD to android v4.2 in coming days. Currently there are 6 smartphone with Quad Core processor under Rs 15K price range which are the best competitors for the Wammy Titan 2 – MMX Canvas HD, Lava Xolo Q800, Karbonn Titanium S1 & S5, UMI X2 and the upcoming Intex Aqua Wonder 2
