Official: Google Nexus 7 (16GB) arrives in India for Rs 15,999

Google’s Android Jelly bean tablet Nexus 7 is finally available in Indian market. Google has listed the ASUS made Nexus 7 tablet on the Google Play Store. The tablet is a 16GB and Wifi only variant. One can buy this much awaited tablet from the play store for Rs 15,999. The shipping time is mentioned as 3-7 days.

Nexus 7 was released last year on 30th October and from the day 1 the tablet has received many accolades for its solid design, latest android Os version and low price tag. In India the device along with Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 was selling at some online retailer from last month for higher price.


Google Asus Nexus 7 tablet features a 7-inch Crystal clear IPS HD display of resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 216 ppi density. The display is protected from scratch resistant Corning’s Gorilla glass. The devices is powered by 1.3 Ghz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. The additional features include 1.2 MP front camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC (for Android Beam) and a massive 4325 mAh battery.
With the launch of Nexus 7, we can also expect Google to launch LG-Nexus 4 smartphone soon in India.
