On June 2nd there was a countdown timer started at NokiaPureview.in indicating June 6th as a special day for the Nokia Pureview 808 in Indian market. But this countdown has already finished its counting and there is no news regarding the launch of the 41MP handset in India. Now instead of showing some release information the webpage shows a new teaser/contest “STOLEN”. I have no idea what it means.
As per our last post, Nokia had confirmed that June 6th will trigger only the pre-launch activities for Pureview 808 and not the actual release, but now even that has not started. According to a yesterday’s post from tech2.in, Nokia official said
“The Nokia 808 PureView is not launching tomorrow Nokia is planning the event in a couple of weeks from now. We shall inform you when it is launching.”
If Nokia hasn’t planned to release the device yet then why put a countdown timer and fooling around the people. Come on Nokia you are developing this phone from past 5 years, atleast release it now.
