Chinese electronics MNC Lenovo yesterday announced a new 7-inch tablet, the Lenovo LePad A2107 which comes with dual SIM card slots. LePad A2107 is likely the first Dual SIM tablet in the market. It has a 7″ capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. In the 7 inch unit lies a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 1GB RAM and 16GB storage. In addition, a microSD card slot is available to expand the storage space, 3MP rear camera and it supports Wifi and 3G networks. The battery of capacity 3550mAh should last up to 10 hours.
The Lenovo LePad S2107 will appear only in China by next week on 18th June. Price details and the availability of the tablet in other markets like India, Europe and US is still unknown.
