- Apple is working on a cost effective tablet iPad Mini which may cost around anywhere between $250 to $300.
Rumors say that this ipad will have a 7.85″ display and is prepared to target the other pending Windows 8 and Android ICS tablets.
- Google Tablet may be released by July 2012. Previously the date of release was in scheduled in May. Google has postponed the release in order to reduce the price and upgrade the OS version from Android 4.0 (Icecream sandwich) to its latest Android version Android 5.0 (Jelly Bean). This tablet features a 7″ display, Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, wifi and may costs around $200 to $250.
- Intel is planning to deliver its Windows 8 based Tablets later this year.
This tablet will feature Intel’s Hyperthreading technology for fast processing. It also contains Atom Z2760 “Clover Trail” dual-core chip, 10″/11″ display, 3G/4G/LTE with NFC and WiFi technology built-in. This tablet may have a physical keyboard.
